Air Medical Evacuations

Horizon Air Ambulance is a large division of Horizon Jets Charter Inc. In 1997 we decided to devote a huge part of our efforts into a medical evacuation department and from there, Horizon Air Ambulance was born. Over the years we have learned the ins and outs of the industry and have great experience which we pass to our clients and case managers. Transporting patients worldwide requires extensive medical knowledge, a large network of medical aircraft and the staff to make a large assortment of plans happen at a moments notice. We know that every situation is different in some manner. There are basic transport requirements that are involved in almost every one and below we will give you an idea of what to expect. Certainly the best is always just to ask your Medical Transport Specialist if you are confused about something. We realize that in most cases this is trauma to the family and rest assure we are here to keep you as calm as possible by keeping you informed about the process every step of the way.
